“Thank you for all your dedicated work in this challenging world.” – Anonymous Donor
For more than 100 years, YWCA St. Paul has been dedicated to eliminating racism and empowering women. Through our programs we fight racism, gender inequity, homelessness, and employment and educational disparities, and we help people meet their health and wellness goals. In any year these are challenging issues, but the onset of COVID-19 has brought new hardships and barriers for the 1,200+ people served in our programs, as well as significant challenges for our organization.
In addition, the global protests and demands for racial justice this year highlighted the critical need for honest dialogue about race, racism and equity in our community. In response, YWCA St. Paul expanded its racial justice initiatives to educate, advocate, support open dialogue and foster creative solutions for building more just, inclusive communities.
But, we need your support to help all of those in the community who depend on us. Your financial contribution makes a difference in the lives of our participants—it makes the impossible, possible.
