Cynthia J. Fraction

 

As Chief Strategy Officer, Cynthia is spearheading the concept and development of our new social entrepreneurship program. She is also supporting in the development and implementation of long-term strategies to achieve our mission and vision; enhancing our capacity and effectiveness through innovative initiatives; building and maintaining strong partnerships with stakeholders and funders; and aligning our programs with our strategic goals to ensure measurable impact.

Cynthia brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning, organizational development, and community engagement. With over 25 years in the education and nonprofit sectors, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a deep commitment to racial justice and community empowerment. She has previously served as Executive Director at Cookie Cart, Director of the Center for Social Justice at Urban League Twin Cities, and was also the founding Director of the Excel Research Scholars Program at the University of St. Thomas. Cynthia has robust experience leading transformative initiatives, enhancing program effectiveness, expanding community partnerships, and securing substantial funding – resulting in improved outcomes for the communities she has engaged.
