YWCA St. Paul wants to hear from YOU! We’re hosting a series of Community Conversations, each focused on a specific topic reflecting the serious consequences of racism.
Our next virtual conversation in the series will focus on voting and civic engagement, soliciting input from the community on how to get out the vote, how to motivate disenfranchised voters and ways to advocate for fair voting practices.

- When: Wednesday, Sept. 16, 4:30-5:45 p.m.

- Who: Join Anika Bowie, Vice President, Minneapolis NAACP, Nick Harper, Esq., Civic Engagement Director, League of Women Voters Minnesota and Gaye Adams Massey, CEO YWCA St. Paul, as they initiate a timely conversation around the role racism plays in voting and voter suppression. - What: This is the second in a monthly series of conversations designed to address the impact of racism on our community. Watch for details on upcoming sessions on our website.
If you missed the first conversation on homelessness and housing, you can watch it on our YouTube channel.
Please join us Sept. 16 as we ‘open the door’ on a conversation designed to tackle the impact of racism on voting and voter suppression, and help source actionable solutions.
We will follow up the conversation with a “Coffee Break” discussion on Friday, Sept. 18 at 10:00 a.m. Watch for a separate invitation and join us for further discussion.
